    Hi Nicole,

I hope you’re well. My name is Dena and I’m writing on behalf of Salon 10, known well for its eclectic cool lounge bar and extensive wine and spirits collection, but not yet for its cuisine. Chef Austin Fry (of Brickhouse fame) has joined the picture since this August and we are looking to create awareness of his new and exciting venture in collaboration with owner Ahlaiya Yung.

I would like to invite you to a media / blogger dinner on Wednesday, September 25th at 8:00pm at Salon 10 on 10 Arbuthnot Road, Central. Please let me know if you can attend and pass the names to me accordingly.

The food is small plates of creative comfort food that is simple, delicious, seasonal and of high quality. It could be also considered as a new take on traditional cuisine. For starters, there is a delicious charcuterie board with thinly sliced copa ham, spicy salami, chicken liver pate with honey and a veal pork terrine with seeded smoked mustard and in-house pickled vegetables served with mini French baguettes to share with friends with our extensive wine and cocktail list. The concept is smaller plates and fresh seasonal items categorized by ‘Something Raw’, ‘Something Fried’, ‘From the Garden’, ‘From the Sky’, ‘From the Sea’, and will have some staples but will change to keep the menu fresh. Some key highlights would be the ‘From the Garden’ dino kale salad and quinoa croutons with chickpea dressing, ‘Something Fried’ colossal crab meat with cornmeal-dusted fried green tomatoes served with green goddess dressing, free-range young French chicken served on a bed of sautéed spinach, and poached olive oil halibut on home-made papardelle. For that ‘Something Sweet’ and small at the end there is a rich rum spiked chocolate pudding with a citrus whipped cream.

Thank you and I look forward to your kind reply.

    Best Regards,
