I just sent you an email to ask you what is the best way to contact you if we have the any event or press tasting.
Hello,do you sell the laduree Lily of the Valley Box?
Hello My name is Michael, and i’m totally mad about your blog! I’m following You at instagram, and food there (Hkg) seemed to be almost unreal! Because of You, me and my girfriend decided to go to HKG for 6 nights in december. I don’t know anyone who had been in Hong Kong yet, so pretty much i dont know nothing! Thats why im writting to You, where is best place to stay there to have everything quite close? And can You make some list of best veggie restaurants in Hong Kong? I plan to eat in other places as well of course but my girfriend is vegetarian, so.. 😉
I’m waiting for quick response! Thanks!
Love your blog! and your commentaries are hilarious.
Quick question, I’m heading out to visit HK in a couple of weeks and wanted to find out where I can get the best Taiwanese pineapple cake?
Thank you! Hmm good question. I usually get pineapple cakes straight from the source haha.. but you could try Kee Wah or Tai Cheong. Kee Wah is a huge chain of bakeries that have pineapple cakes for sure. Tai Cheong is known for egg tarts, but they might have them too! Sorry I couldn’t be of more help =/. Let me know if you find any that are worth trying!
Actually, you can get pineapple cakes at a Taiwanese bookstore called Eslite at Hysan Mall in Causeway Bay! Pick up the Sugar & Spice nougats too! So good 🙂
I come across your website from the referral of my friend. I found your posts very interesting. Recently I come across a new ramen restaurant that have been opened in 23 Amoy Street, Wanchai, Hong Kong call Kamitora 神虎拉麵. I found it quite tasty. They have Japanese Chef. Perhaps you may want to check it out. https://www.facebook.com/Kamitora.Ramen.at.Wanchai
Adore your site!
I’m currently living in Colombia, and there’s a place here called Wok, it has the best…well, absolutely everything I’ve ever tasted.
The clickable menu is great.
Hi! I was wondering what camera(s) you use for your food photography? I’m looking to buy a nice one myself, and yours seems pretty good. That being said, are there any cons to the body you are using? Is it alright in lowlight situations? Anyway I love your blog and hope you’re enjoying your day or whatever.
Hey Mariyam! Thanks for the kind words. I use a Sony A7 along with a few different lens. I really like it because it isn’t too big or heavy and it’s super easy to transfer photos from the camera to my phone via wifi. For lowlight situations, I have a pretty good lens – 24mm F1.8 lens. Hope that helps!
Will be heading to HK for a short business trip and i was wondering which would you rather pick Amber or Tenku Ryugin?
Were really torn between the two and we only have one free night in hk 🙂
Hey Carey, sorry about the delay, I assume you’ve already taken your trip. This ended up in my spam folder for some reason.
As a foodie and someone who religiously follows your blog, I recently opened a restaurant in Causeway Bay called Maizuru (舞鶴) which specialises in omakase style dinner and authentic Japanese lunch sets with ingredients flown straight from Japan. Would be great if you could pop by for a try when available. Please email me at [email protected] or go to our openrice page (http://www.openrice.com/en/hongkong/restaurant/causeway-bay-maizuru/472604) or check out our IG page at (https://www.instagram.com/hkmaizuru/) if you need address details or want to take a look at what people have eaten. Although I may be slightly biased, the food is amazing!
I love your Instagram and loved it for quite a while now 🙂 In 6 months, I’ll be visiting Seoul and Tokyo (yay!). I’d like to print out all your foodie places for these cities, is there a listing on your blog I could print out instead of printing everything separatly? Thank you so much in advance!
Hi Loraine! Thanks for the kind words! I’ll send you an email =)
