Deep fried Hiroshima oysters + tomato + romaine lettuce + cheddar cheese and + homemade tartar sauce = One Major Foodgasm! This burger is SOOO EFFING GOOD. The Hiroshima oysters are individually deep fried with a crispy outer layer along with a tartar sauce that creates the perfect combination in your mouth.
I wanted to eat everything on the menu! We didn’t want to be fat asses or typical food bloggers and order a bunch of food with tons of waste so we just ordered the Hiroshima Oyster Cheese Burger and the Chili Burger. I’ll definitely be back fo’ mo’.
The Chili Burger consists of sliced tomato, romaine lettuce and homemade chili coleslaw. I honestly didn’t think it was anything special. I’m not a huge fan of their beef patties. I found their beef patties rather dry, tough and overcooked. I think I may be setting my beef patty expectations a little high by comparing BurgeRoom beef batties to the (more expensive) patties of BLT Burger.
I’ve been to the BurgeRoom once before but that was long before my food brogging days. I had the Soft Shell Crab Burger but I can’t remember exactly how it tasted. I’ll have to go back to refresh my memory and remember to take some burger porn pictures! The salad was the doing of Eugene, far from memorable, you probably are better off just ordering a portobello on the side and munching on it without the additional green shrubbery.
